RAAF Virtual is a VATSIM Special Operations Group. We specialise in military flying activities and undergo a comprehensive training regime to be able to operate as some of the most qualified pilots on the network. We fly everything from Pilatus PC-21 aircraft through to F/A-18F and F-35 fast jets all the way up to KC30 Multirole Tanker Transports (MRTT) and C-17 Heavy Transport aircraft.

This year for the first time RAAF Virtual pilots will be flying around the world in the IndiaFoxtEcho F35 Lightning II, using a custom built F35 home simulator running Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 - raising money for Dolly's Dream with every nautical mile.

Watch along on twitch where you will see us flying at over 40,000 feet at close to the speed of sound or performing in-flight refuelling with our companion KC30 tanker*. You will even be able to talk to our pilots via twitch and ask questions about why we do what we do!
